Microsoft recently released the Windows Phone 7.8 update for older Windows Phone 7.5 devices, and a number of users have reported some issues with the live tiles on their handset since the update.
Microsoft has now acknowledged the issue and have said that they are working on a fix for the problem, the news was announced on Twitter by Microsoft’s Joe Belfoire.

@TheRealPButler Yes.. We identified a minor issue where some 7.8 tiles stop updating and we are working on a fix now.
As yet there are no details on exactly when Microsoft will release a fix for the live tile issue on Windows Phone 7.8, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
